Upward Bound

The Volunteers of America Upward Bound Program has been serving the Los Angeles Community for
more than twenty years.

The Program is designed to assist low-income students in
grades eight through twelve, who demonstrate the potential for higher education, prepare for post-secondary schools.

Participants receive academic instruction, counseling,
college admission assistance and career guidance.

Students have an opportunity to attend classes in a six-week
summer residential college program.
Upward Bound Programs serve students at
target schools in Los Angeles and North Hollywood.
