Applicants need to
have a minimum of 24 units in Early Childhood Education or Child
Development. Must be willing to actively pursue a Child Development Permit
and have experience working with children either in the home or in an
educational program. Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus. Must also have
physical examination at the time of employment and meet state health
requirements. To help transport children, must have access to
transportation with adequate insurance coverage and a valid driver’s
license. Fingerprint clearance a must. Must be able to interact with
children in a very busy environment; therefore, must be physically able to
perform lifting (45 lbs.), squatting/kneeling, move quickly, and the like.
