All people have tremendous capacity for increased insight and self-sufficiency. We are committed to finding solutions to social problems and pioneering new approaches that will move beyond assisting individuals in need to creating positive lasting changes for families, neighborhoods and communities.

The real success of our work relies on compassion and an innovative approach to INNATE HEALTH: the inherent potential in everyone to lead more fulfilling and productive lives; and to THE POWER OF STORY: the knowledge that our life experiences shape the stories we tell about ourselves, and that these stories directly influence the choices we make and the way we live our lives.

We identify at-risk children and youth from underserved Los Angeles communities who are unwittingly poised to become the next generation of teen mothers, absentee fathers, and welfare recipients, and help guide them towards an empowered future.

We target men and women, families, the elderly, and veterans who for any number of reasons have become impoverished and are vulnerable to homelessness, substance abuse, illness, violence and crime, and are ready to transform their own lives.

We’re dedicated to helping all people realize their full potential through relevant programs and services that have an impact that is DEEP, resulting in a change in the way they see themselves and the world; BROAD, extending beyond individuals to their families and communities; and LONG-LASTING, outlasting the time spent with us.
