Long-time volunteer, Rita Tennes knows how to help people feel – and look – great.

A professional hair stylist and dedicated volunteer, Rita transforms our Drop-in Center on Skid Row into a salon every weekday afternoon, giving haircuts and shaves to any of our clients who are working their way out of homelessness and desiring a primp.

Rita Tennes understands the true gift of giving and we salute her for her commitment to increasing our clients’ dignity and self-esteem.
