Profession: Pediatrician
Love and Marriage: In 1947, Katherine moved to Long Beach,
California and married Nicholas Oddo, M.D., a young internist from
college days. For a time, they were in practice together. Dr. White
was certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in July, 1950,
and as the couple's case load burgeoned, they decided to build their
own office building - Oddo White Medical Clinic on Atlantic Avenue
in Long Beach, CA. Their marital partnership went on happily until
Dr. Oddo's death in 1966.
